OutHear Ear Clinic is an independent professional ear cleaning service based in Poole, Dorset. Our clinicians are degree-qualified and registered audiologists.
We provide appointments for safe, professional and friendly ear wax removal at your home.
We cater for all patients, all ages (and all ears). We have been rated and reviewed by previous patients on websites including Google, Yell and Facebook.
Trained in 'Clearwax' video endoscopic ear-wax removal, this is a safer technique compared to other forms of wax removal and has been shown to provide more consistent results. It also means that we can show you images of your ears before and after any procedure.
Some of our patients have had confirmed wax blockages by NHS GPs/audiologists. However, we are also a direct service, and those who suspect wax is in their ears can book an appointment with us before going to their GP, therefore reducing waiting times and delays. We can also remove other obstructions and objects (i.e. hearing aid domes) that may be lost within the ear canal.
We are fully insured and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Safe, Professional and Effective
We use a 'ClearWax' video endoscopic based system and a variety of techniques to remove wax from our patient's ears. These include: microsuction, water irrigation and manual tools. A combination of these methods gives our patients the best quality results and satisfaction with their care.
Taking Care of You
Mr. Conor Walsh graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in audiology, and is an audiologist with a range of NHS and private experience both in the UK and abroad.
Although predominantly providing wax removal, as qualified audiologists we can make recommendations to hearing aid users, supply hearing aid batteries and provide maintenance for their devices. For those that are interested in hearing protection (musicians, industrial workers, surfers) we can also take impressions of your ears for the manufacturing of custom ear plugs.
OutHear Ear Clinic also liaises with local GP surgeries in order to improve their patients' accessibility to ear wax removal.
The main goal of the service is for patients to be happy and satisfied with the care that we provide.
